Description
Lower crash bars have 3 mounting points per side. Their role is to protect lower parts of the motorcycle, such as the engine and exhaust manifolds. Upper crash bars protect the tank and fairings to provide a maximum protection for the motorcycle.
The protection pads are made of black plastic (polyamide). The rear section (without the logo) is thinner to leave as much space as possible between the slider and the motorcycle. The front section is thicker and features the embossed HEED logo (registered trademark of the manufacturer).
When installing, pay attention to the placement of the protectors/sliders to avoid interfering with the operation of the crash bars near essential components of the motorcycle.
Dimensions of a single protector: 88 x 55 mm, 16 mm deep at the rear, and 24 mm at the front, for a total of 40 mm when installed.
The kit contains:
- piping for the left and the right side of a motorcycle,
- 2 sliders,
- installation set including all necessary parts for installation,
- installation instruction with pictures.
