Description
A set of upper and lower crash bars for BMW R 1150 GS Adventure, manufactured between 2001-2005 with sliders for crash bars.
These crash bars provide an excellent protection for a motorcycle. This is a two-piece set of piping for a protection of the engine, fairings, tank and other sensitive parts of a motorcycle during a fall or hitting an obstacle. It can be useful during off-road driving, on the asphalt or on parking. Crash bars in this size also protect motorcyclist's legs, as when hitting an obstacle, they absorb the impact force and ensure the distance between a motorcycle and the ground or obstacle during a fall or slide.
We offer this item in black but it's also available in silver (a separate item in our store).
It's only dedicated for BMW R 1150 GS Adventure and don't fit standard BMW R 1150 GS.
The protection pads are made of black plastic (polyamide). The rear section (without the logo) is thinner to leave as much space as possible between the slider and the motorcycle. The front section is thicker and features the embossed HEED logo (registered trademark of the manufacturer).
When installing, pay attention to the placement of the protectors/sliders to avoid interfering with the operation of the crash bars near essential components of the motorcycle.
Dimensions of a single protector: 88 x 55 mm, 16 mm deep at the rear, and 24 mm at the front, for a total of 40 mm when installed.
The kit contains:
- piping for the left and right side of a motorcycle,
- 2 sliders,
- installation set including all necessary parts for installation,
- installation instruction.
